This video illustrates the Macabeb Style in the Giron Arnis Escrima system of Philippine Martial Arts.
Macabebe is the name of a municipality in the province of Pampanga. Many men in the region have chosen to sell clothing materials to families in remote neighborhoods.
These Maccabean men introduced an art of self-defense using two long sticks; this style is characterized by the interlocking movements of the sticks and is also known as sinawali, the weaving style.
In Giron Arnis Escrima, Macabebe Style, the application weapon would be two cake knives.
The Macabebe natives were known as fierce warriors who were employed by others for protection.
The Maccabee warriors also have bare hands and
disarming system that is used in Giron Escrima.
